This degenerative disease has left her with minimal vision, impacting her daily life and work as a physiotherapist on the Yorke Peninsula. The station, owned by Reece and Tarina Warren, is a thriving eco-tourism hub and working sheep station. However, Tarina's vision loss has made it challenging to navigate the property independently, especially with the rugged landscape and dry conditions. To overcome this, she was put on a waiting list for a seeing eye dog, Mika, a black labrador with remarkable adaptability. Mika has not only assisted Tarina in her daily tasks at the station but has also provided her with the independence she needs for her work as a physiotherapist.
